Karter told us (Rod and me) a few weeks earlier that he was planning to take his call to the temple and open it on his own. He felt he would go through some difficult things and wanted to have a personal/spiritual experience with Heavenly Father to confirm that this was where He wanted him to be. I was a little disappointed, but it is his call... so I didn't push him to do something different. Here are a million photos from that day!
