Saturday Pday again...

Its been rainy, humid and cold for the last week. I am ready for the sun to come out again!

But other than that it's been a pretty good week. We've had a good amount of people that we taught this week but we had less success on the finding of new people. I am starting to really get used to the way that KSU runs, the schedule and days are pretty fast paced and for the most part planned out for us because of the YSA activities. It is always a good time getting to spend some time around some young pups in the mission.

On Monday President Clayton gave me a phone call to ask about my Cousin, Sister Cockrell, coming to the mission. I told him how excited I was and he said that he would most likely have us serve around each other. I am hoping that means here at KSU!!!

I don't have a lot other than that, so I guess I should bare my testimony. I know that this Gospel is true and I am so grateful to be serving as a missionary for this wonderful Church. I am grateful to be sharing a message of the Restoration of Christ's Church, even though I do receive a ton of rejection for it! I hope and pray that those that are ready and willing to accept the Gospel will reveal themselves to us, according to our own faith as well as theirs.  Again, I love being a missionary and the short time I am given to be here in Georgia!!

I love yall,

Well...we have fun here!!!

I'll be honest...I'm kinda done with sending weekly emails. I don't know why but I just have less and less Motivation to keep emailing. So for those people that don't get a reply, don't feel offended, I just can't anymore!!

We are finding the elect here at KSU and looking forward to the coming weeks with the people that are progressing.

Since this last Saturday wasn't our Pday and campus is dead, we invited some peeps and had a spikeball tournament. It was a ton of fun and had a good time showing people that missionaries are normal. I never thought I would be able to play frisbee and spikeball to find people to teach!!

But hey, that is pretty much everything!!

Love yall

Heatstroke and Frisbay!!!!

KSU District + Summer Miller and Trey Bates (Recent Converts)

Well, It's been another week here in KSU!! Things are picking up speed now that its been a week! There's been some good stuff happening up here!!

Basically everyday here is the same. Throughout this whole week we have had a lot of fun finding opportunities. There is a part of KSU's campus called 'the Green' where everybody goes to play sports and stuff. There were a ton of people playing Ultimate and Spikeball this week so of course we joined in and had a dandy ol' time!! I never thought I would be able to play my favorite sport to find people to teach, this has been a lot of fun!! It also been perfect weather, 80 degrees in February!!

Funny thing, one of the guys that was playing Ultimate actually knew the Lone Peak Ultimate Team from a couple years back while in a tournament. A lot of the guys there really wanted us to join the KSU team, but of course we had to let them down because we are missionaries!! But we are trying to meet with a few of them after they go down to Tampa for a tournament!!

I got a text from a girl named Caroline that I worked with in Carrollton. She said that she got railed on by her brother for talking to the missionaries and didn't really know how to deal with it! She is super sweet and felt bad that her brother didn't understand how much the Gospel already meant to her. It is really cool how well she understands the importance of the Gospel and its only been two weeks since the first time that we met with her. There is one thing for certain, she definitely wouldn't be meeting with us after her brother's tangent if she hadn't been reading the Book of Mormon. She is already in Alma and pretty much bore her testimony about its truthfulness.

So on that note, I will leave everybody with my testimony of the Book of Mormon! I have come to understand how true this book is as I have been out on my mission, and how it gives us a better understanding of God's purposes for each of us!! The book testifies of the divinity of Jesus Christ and stands as a witness of the perfection of this Church as it is lead by the Savior Himself. It is an honor and a privilege to share this Gospel and this Book with the people in Georgia, I plan to stay the same way when I do end up returning home!

Just "READ the BOOK"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love yall

Transfers, KSU and Friday/Saturday Pdays

Eating a McSleezy (McChicken and Mcdouble)

Well, I am mostly writing this because I don't want everyone to think that I am a pile for emailing on the weekend. Because I got transferred to KSU, we have Pdays on Saturdays, but because of a baptism going on tomorrow it is changed to today. Being a KSU missionary is really fun because our area is just the Kennesaw Campus. And that is the reason behind the change in Pdays; because there is nobody on Campus on Saturdays and it is full on Mondays.

Sooooooo, an update for the Carrollton/WGYSA Area. This last Tuesday we had the opportunity to meet with Ashton and Caroline for the last time before I left. The School got closed because good ol' weatherman thought it was finna snow.......it didn't. Anyway, we met at McDonalds and had the Duffies there as well. It was probably one of the most powerful lessons that I have ever been apart of. We asked them what they felt as they were reading and praying. They both said that the Book was bringing them a lot of joy and peace, so we had them read Galatians 5:22 about the fruit of the spirit and helped them understand for themselves that the spirit was what they were feeling.

Well, I was sad to leave Carrollton, it was definitely my favorite but I am grateful to continue serving as a missionary for Jesus Christ!!

Love yall
